Each year, 4-H touches the lives of more than a million children through club membership, special interest groups, school enrichment programs, nutrition programs, and outdoor adventures. Your decision to join the Texas 4-H Friends and Alumni Association is one of the best opportunities to show your support of 4-H, the programs provided, the county agents hard work, and the values instilled in today’s youth. For only $30 a year, you will receive discount privileges from corporate sponsors, admission into our hospitality rooms, a quarterly newsletter, an invitation to any hosted galas or social events, and best of all…a chance to touch the life of  a current 4-H member.

The membership dues and corporate sponsorships will be used for scholarships, county grant programs, and association overhead. Scholarships will be awarded to Texas 4-H Friends and Alumni members who have completed 2 years of college, carried their leadership skills learned in 4-H to collegiate organizations, and have a financial need.   Grant Proposals County Extension Agents can apply for grant money from the Association to fund a worthy cause at the county level. Monetary rewards will be influenced by the number of memberships in the county.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

• ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: $30  (This is a yearly membership for one person)
• JOINT MEMBERSHIP: $50  (This membership is for a husband and wife who both want to join the association on an annual basis)
• COLLEGIATE MEMBERSHIP: $15  (This membership is for individuals entering or attending college)
• LIFETIME: $500 (This is a one time membership fee for one person. You will receive a certificate as well as special recognition at various events. You will be invited to special functions throughout the year)
• LIFETIME JOINT: $750 (This is a one time membership fee for a husband and wife who both want to be identifies as Lifetime members. You will receive a certificate as well as special recognition at various events. You will be invited to special functions throughout the year)
• ASSOCIATE MEMBER: $150 (This membership is designed for small businesses, university organizations, clubs, and other associations. This membership is due annually. You will receive a certificate recognizing you as a “Friend of 4-H”. You will be recognized in list form as a “Friend” in the December issue of our newsletter)
