Program Support Grant Application
The Texas 4-H Friends & Alumni Association and Texas 4-H Foundation began this official effort in 2007. Both organizations have concentrated these past few years to enhance the area of support to our local 4-H programs. We are pleased to announce funding has been secured to the point we are able to now fund such projects at a level greater then we have in the past. Applications are open for any Texas 4-H Program from a county to regional level. The current maximum requested amount is $500. Monies to benefit this effort is through annual membership dues, fundraisers and royalties from our various alliances such as La Quinta, SECC contributions, and other donations. As of January 2012, $66,500 has been awarded across the state. For a complete list of projects to date, see link below.
Awarded Grants (updated 3/1/2012)
Annual deadlines have been set for December 15 (revised 11/8/2011), May 1 and September 1 for application submission. The applications will be reviewed by the Texas 4-H Foundation Grant Committee and recommendations for funding will be submitted to the full board. These deadlines will correspond with the Texas 4-H Foundation Trustee meetings held three times per year.
